(I) Overview:

The non-woven fabric technology of spunlace reinforcement (also known as hydraulic jet method, hydraulic entanglement method, etc.) of fiber mesh started relatively late. It was successfully developed by American companies Dupont and Chicopee in the mid-1970s and realized industrial production in 1985.

Method of spunlaced nonwoven material moisture absorption and permeability is good, soft, high intensity, good drapability, without adhesive reinforcement, closer to the traditional textile appearance than other non-woven materials, therefore, although the water thorn method technology development relatively late, but has become one of the fastest growing nonwoven process method, regardless of the product and process, or equipment, Have been developed greatly in recent decades. Spunlaced technology has also been applied to spunbonded nonwovens, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics and pulp pulp materials.

(2) The principle of spunlaced reinforcement of fiber network

The principle of spunspike method is similar to that of acupuncture technique, but instead of needling needle, multi-strand micro-water jet generated by high pressure is used to spray the fiber net, commonly known as "high pressure water needle". After the water needle passes through the fiber network, it is entrusted to hold the rebound of the mesh curtain and intersperse the fiber network again. Therefore, the fibers in the fiber network will produce displacement, interspersion, entanglement and hugging under the hydraulic action of high-speed water needle interspersed in different directions, so that the fiber network can be strengthened.

(4) Product application

Spunlace non-woven materials are used for medical curtains, surgical gowns, surgical cover cloth, medical dressing materials, wound dressings, medical gauze, aviation rags, clothing lining base cloth, coating base cloth, disposable materials, instrument and meter advanced rags, electronic industry advanced rags, towels, cosmetic cotton, wet wipes, mask covering materials, etc.

(5) Spunlaced technological process

A. Preparation of fiber raw materials → opening and mixing → combing into nets → cross-spreading nets → pre-wetting → reverse and reverse spining reinforcement → dehydration (water treatment cycle) → pre-drying → post-finishing → drying drying → shaping → scuttling and winding → packaging

Different mesh forming methods affect the vertical and horizontal strength ratio of the final product. Process A can adjust the vertical and horizontal strength ratio of the fiber mesh better, which is suitable for the production of spunlaced synthetic leather substrate. Process B is suitable for spunella production.
